After I saw this picture, I remember a question I thought about few years ago.
Why a brand want to built one even though more than one sub brands?
I always want to ask if a brand want to sell different kinds of products to the customers, why they just do not use one brand to sell it, and they created so many different brands to sell the different products?
We can see those brands from the picture, they have so many different relationships between all of them.

I found this article to talked about why a brand would like to create some sub brands to develop their business.
- To create a stronger appeal to a particular market or market segment.
- To make the parent brand more relevant to a specific market or market segment
- To call out or highlight different amenity, benefit or values bundles offered by specific groupings of products or services.
Well, I think it can be said that the sub brand is a way to develop the business by the brand.
