00-26-00 Advertising in this term

This week is week ten, and it means after I finish this week's things, I can go home.
I can go back to China for the winter break.

J456 is my first class for the advertising.
I think it help me a lot, and let me know what is the advertising, and it also let me know how the advertising work in the society.
Deb is a very good teacher, she helped me a lot, not only for the class, but also helped me to understand how to select the classes in the next term, and also how to plan my future.

Right now, I am working on my final project with my teammates. We are going to create something different. SO, let see what will happen???

00-25-00 Chinese advertising? USA advertising?

Advertising no matter in the China, or in the USA, it always play an important role in the society, or in the government.

Well, because I am a Chinese, and I feel like China's ads are more focus on the products, and USA's ads some of them are focus on the design.

Why I would like to say this?

The reason is because I already saw a lot of advertisings from those two countries. And I feel that it is very common in the Chinese advertising to only show to people the products.

This ad was very famous in China, and it is a medicine advertising. You may feel it is very interesting, and funny. But it only say the name of the products, and there is no any other information about the product. When I was first time to watch this ad, I just feel it was very interesting, but I did not know what was that? What's that for? I have no idea about this.

This ad is 100% come from China, and this brand also from China. I think they may did a good work for the ad design, but not good for the information about the brand.

So, how about this?

Everyone knows about this?

honestly, I do not like this advertising, but I have to say that it is good, and it is because it not only show to us a good advertising, but also told us what is "5 hours energy".

 

Also this one, I showed before. Although it played by Jacke Chan, and Yao Ming, but Visa is not a Chinese company, it just made this advertising for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. It is funny, and it also told us what's going on, and let us know the basic information about the VISA.

Therefore, What is the basic thing for a good advertising?

I think it is sample, and easy to remember, and also some information about the product. 

00-24-00 Advertising, Fake? or Not?

Well, I am not going to say that all of advertising are fake, I just want to talk about some of advertisings are lying to the people, are lying to the society.
Why I said this? The reason is because some of my friends told me that the product they bought is not like the advertisings said that are very good or easy to use. So, what do you think about this? lying? or not?

From this advertisings, we can see the iRobot can stop if there are something in front of it, and it can control the direction by itself... So, when I first time saw it, I think it is amazing, and I should get one for my family.
However, after I talked to my friend, I changed my mind, the reason is because my friend told me that it did not like the advertising said that can stop by the stuff, it will keep getting through it.  And it also very noisy. So, it is not good enough.
Therefore, what do you think after you head this message?
It is fake? or not?

I think it is lying, and did not tell the people the truth.
So, what is the basic idea about the advertising?
Reality? Truth? Function?
I think the most important thing is do not lying to the people.

00-23-00 Virgin Atlantic advertising

I just saw this advertising on the Youtube, and When I begin to watch this ad, I heard the background music, I feel just like the movie-- 007.
Except the details, I think all from the 007, music, images design.
However, something are very interesting in the ad is that the men were dancing are different from the movie, and it is working very well.
This ad helped me to remember this airline very deeply, and in fact, I never heard about any information about this airline, after I saw this ad, I was search some information about this company, and also try to watch more video about this company.
I feel this ad are very successful, because it help the brand to make people who watch the video to remember the ad, and also remember the brand.

So, also this one, it show to people that Virgin airline are special, and they are famous. It can help people to remember them very well.

Well, I like this company because the advertising.

00-22-00 Message of the advertisings...

I am not sure if it right to use the message, I want just want to talk about the words in the advertisings. 
From my point, almost every advertising I saw all have a sentence or a few words to give publicity to the brand.

As we knew, like Nike: JUST DO IT.

Or, Just likt Adidas: IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING.

Those two are the most famous for me, When I saw those words, I always can remember the brands.

Therefore, Do you think it is very important that a brand should have a good message?

My answer is yes, the reason is because that a good message can help the brand to be remembered by a lot of people. 

So, how to get a good message of advertising?

"Don't try to tell your customers everything about your product or service. Narrow your message and be specific so the customer gets one important message instead of a jumble of "good stuff" you want them to hear about."

Create an effective advertising message  said those sentence, I feel it is right, first of the first is not to introduce your products, is that you should make people interested in to listen to your introduction.

I think the most important thing to create a message of advertising is do not try to make the message to hard to remember, only a few words is fine, and it may not necessary to have some contact with the products.

00-21-00 For Him? Or For Her? Part 2-- Men or Women

After boys, and girls. Let's talk about the men and women.
What do you think the difference between boys and men? or girls and women?

I think the differences are they have different understanding about the society. Boys and girls are dreaming something they like, but men and women are more reality, and they are more care about the life, and not dream.

So, let think about what men would like.
As a man, I just like others like cars, beautiful women, sports, and so on. Therefore, if some advertisings include those factors, I would like to see them. I think other men also would like to agree with me.

What do you think? beautiful women, cars, music everything is men's favorite, and I do not think there is no men would like to say do not like this.

Alos like this, you like it? I like it....

So, how about women's? I really do not how to define the women's advertisings. I think may kind of like girls, want to be star, beautiful, luxury, also sexy, and so on.

It may just like I talked about the "Big Brand" before, those things are almost same.

Just like this, almost everything I talked about are included, and I think this advertising are design for the women.

00-20-00 For Him? Or For Her? Part 1-- Boys or Girls

Right now, there are so many advertisings that going to show to different groups of people.

For him? or For her?

Today, I just want to talk about the boys and girls' advertisings.

Firstly, let's think about what kind of factors that are boys favorite, and what are the girls best like?

In my mind, as a man, when I was a boy, I like gun, weapons, flights, cars, and so on. Some of my friends who are girs would like some baby toys, or something about the fairy tales. 

Therefore, I think if the brands want to sale a lot of toys to boys or girls, they have to catch the point that which is their favorite part.

I want to use Lego as a example to talk about this topic.

After you saw this ad, what do you think? for boy? or for girl?

I would like to say that it is for boy, the reason is because those video include the factors are fighting, adventure, and so on. Those factors are the boys favorites. When I was a boy, I always dream that I can be warrior that defeated some monsters. This advertising shows everything just for the boys.

So, How about this one? obviously, it is for the girls. Lightings, stars, and so on. I think most of girls would have a dream that they want to be star in the future, and there are a lot of fans for them, and they are the center of people.
